Hawaiian Air Reports Traffic and Capacity Increase for July

Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for July 2018.

The airline reported that it carried over 1.1 million passengers in July, a record for the month and a 3.2% increase over the same period in 2017.

Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.55 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 5.1% from 1.48 billion RPMs in July 2017. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 6% to 1.78 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.70 billion ASMs last July.

Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 87.4%, a .01 percentage point increase from 87.3% the previous July.
