Hawaiian Airlines Reports Increase in Traffic and Capacity for October

IMG_9811Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for October 2018.

The airline reported that it carried over 971,000 passengers in October, a record for the month and a 0.5% increase over the same period in 2017.

Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.46 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 3.6% from 1.41 billion RPMs in October 2017. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 6.3% to 1.71 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.61 billion ASMs last October.

Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 85.6%, a 2.1 percentage point drop from 87.7% the previous October.
