Conrad New York Downtown Completes Guest Room Renovation Project

Hilton International announced the completion of a refurbishment project that touched all guest rooms and corridors at the Conrad New York Downtown.
The work began in January and involved the replacement of all upholstered furniture as well as in-room lighting fixtures in addition to carpets in the guest-room corridors. The rooms feature elegant light woods with grey carpeting and earth-tone furnishings.

Hilton Reports 80% Drop in Revenue in Q2

Hilton International announced financial results for the second quarter of 2020.
The company reported a net loss of $432 million in Q2 and said that systemwide comparable RevPARor revenue per available room, fell by 81% compared to the same period in 2019.  Revenue fell 77% to $564 million year-over-year.

Hilton to Cut 22% of Corporate Workforce Amidst Coronavirus Pandemic

Hilton Worldwide announced it would have to eliminate some 2,100 jobs, or 22% of its corporate workforce, as the coronavirus pandemic continues to ravage the travel industry.
The McLean, Virginia-based company said it would be forced to extend previously announced furloughs and reduced hours for those who remain for up to three months.  Corporate pay cuts are also being extended during this period.
