Hawaiian Airlines Reports Modest Increase in Traffic and Capacity for March

Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for March 2019.
The airline reported that it carried 993,000 passengers in March, a year-over-year decline of 2.5% from 1,018,741.
Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.439 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 0.2% from 1.436 billion RPMs in March 2018. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 0.3% to 1.67 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.66 billion ASMs last March.
Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 86.4%, a 0.1 percentage point drop from 86.5% the previous March.
