Hawaiian Air Reports Increase in Traffic and Capacity for May

Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for May 2018.
The airline reported that it carried over 1.01 million passengers in May, a record for the month and a 4.7% increase over the same period in 2017.
Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.45 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 5.6% from 1.37 billion RPMs in May 2017. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 6.5% to 1.68 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.58 billion ASMs last May.
Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 85.9%, a.8 percentage point drop from 86.7% the previous May.
