DSC_5013JetBlue Airways announced multiple new routes and network changes.

The changes will make the airline “even more relevant in its key markets.”

The New York-based airline is adding new service to José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport in Guayaquil, Ecuador, from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

In addition, the airline is adding service between Boston Logan International and Greater Rochester International airports and Providence’s T.F. Green International and Palm Beach International Airports, and it will link Fort Lauderdale with Phoenix Sky Harbor International and St. Maarten’s Princess Juliana International airports.

The carrier said it also plans to reduce service on routes deemed “underperforming.” As a result, it will eliminate service between New York and Daytona Beach, San Juan and St. Croix, and all service linking Washington Dulles International Airport to Boston and New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport.
