Alaska to Begin Los Angeles-Havana Route

Alaska Airlines announced that it plans to launch new daily service to Havana, Cuba from Los Angeles on January 5, 2017.
The route will be the only service to Cuba from the West Coast of the United States.
Flights are scheduled to depart Los Angeles International Airport at 8:50 a.m. and arrive at José Martí International Airport in Havana at 4:55 p.m. Flights from Havana to Los Angeles will depart at 5:55 p.m. and arrive at 8:45 p.m.
Alaska Airlines was awarded the flights by the U.S. Department of Transportation last month, and they are subject to approval by the Cuban aviation authorities.
