Xiamen Airlines Begins Fuzhou-Sydney Route
Xiamen Airlines announced the launch of new flights between Fuzhou, China and Sydney, Australia. The service is the first ever route from the Chinese city to a destination outside of Asia.
Flights will depart Fuzhou Changle International Airport at 10:10 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and will arrive at Sydney Airport at 10:30 a.m. the next day. From Sydney, flights are scheduled to depart at 12:00 noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, arriving in Fuzhou at 6:20 p.m.
In addition, the carrier plans to begin new flights to Sydney from Xiamen on December 5. The airline will operate the service twice a week.
Xiamen Airlines will operate the new route using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.
