New Sheraton Hotel Opens Outside of Dallas, Texas

Starwood announced the opening of the Sheraton McKinney hotel in McKinney, Texas, a city about 30 miles (48 kilometers) north of Dallas.  The property is Starwood’s 14th hotel in the state of Texas.

The hotel’s 186 guestrooms each provide LCD flat screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi access.  The property also houses a fitness center and outdoor pool.

Guests can dine t the hotel’s Sweetwater Bar and Grill, which offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  In addition, the Sheraton Club Lounge offers complimentary breakfast, drinks, and evening hors d’oeuvres to Club guests.

The property boasts of over 20,000 square feet (1,858 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a boardroom and five separate meeting rooms.

In celebration of the opening, the Sheraton McKinney is offering 1,000 bonus Starpoints to Starwood Preferred Guest members who book and complete stays at the hotel by April 6.
