Starwood announced it will open a new Element hotel in Orlando in July of 2015. The Element Orlando North will be part of the redeveloped Orlando Fashion Square in the city’s downtown area.

The eight-story hotel will have 151 rooms, each with swiveling flat screen TVs, custom-designed closets, and modular furniture. Rooms will also have fully equipped kitchens, while bathrooms will have rain showerheads.

The property will also have a 24-hour fitness center and an outdoor saltwater pool. In addition, the hotel will offer a 977-square-foot (90-square-meter) meeting room for events.

Element is the only major hotel brand to pursue brand-wide LEED certification for high-performance buildings. The Element Orlando North will be the third Element property in Florida, after the Element Miami International Airport and the Element Miami Doral.
