Starwood Opens Sheraton Fuzhou Hotel in China

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has opened the Sheraton Fuzhou Hotel in China’s Fujian province. The hotel is located in Fuzhou’s newly built business district, and is one of 12 Sheraton Hotels slated to open in China by the end of 2012.

The new hotel has 396 rooms and suites, with options for Deluxe, Premier, River-view, and Club Rooms. The rooms all feature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper beds, high speed Internet access, and bath and body products. Other amenities include a Link@Sheraton business/social hub with complimentary Wi-Fi and PC workstations, a Shine Spa, and the Sheraton Fitness program by Core Performance.

Three restaurants provide dining options. Feast is an all day restaurant with international options; Yue provides authentic Cantonese dishes with local and sustainable ingredients, and Miyabe features Japanese cuisine. Additionally, the Lobby Lounge serves cocktails, sprits, and coffee.

The property is located on the Minjiang River, and is adjacent to the Cross-Straits International Conference and Exhibition Centre. Transportation is available at the Fuzhou South Railway Station (14 km) and the Fuzhou Changle International Airport (45 km).
