Conrad New York Hotel Opens

The 463-all suite Conrad New York Hotel has opened in Manhattan’s Battery Park City, as New York City’s first Conrad property.

The Conrad New York features a contemporary design including 2,000 pieces of modern art by a variety of artists in guest rooms and public spaces. The hotel’s 15-story atrium is anchored by a 13-floor-high blue and purple Sol LeWitt painting,

Guest room amenities include Wi-Fi, iPod docking stations, flat-screen TVs, and mini-bars. Rates start at $249, and rooms start at 430 square feet in size.

The hotel also features Atrio restaurant, serving modern Mediterranean cuisine, as well as Loopy Doopy, a rooftop bar with views of the city and the Hudson River. The Conrad New York also offers more than 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space, as well as valet parking.
