New Fitness-Oriented Even Hotel to Open in Miami in 2024

InterContinental Hotels Group announced plans for a new Even Hotel, the hotelier’s wellness brand. The Even Hotel Sweetwater-Doral will open in time for the summer 2024 season in Miami.

The brand was first announced by IHG in 2012 and the first two Even Hotel properties opened in Norwalk, Connecticut, and Rockville, Maryland, in 2014.

The health-oriented brand opened its first property outside the United States, the Even Hotels – Nanjing Yangtze River in China, in 2020.

Even Hotels promote fitness and health, and focus on the health-conscious traveler by helping guests stay active and enjoy healthier meals during their stays. Guestrooms typically feature a separate private gym-like area with a foam roller, yoga mat, yoga block, core exercise ball, and mounted fitness wall as well as access to several hundred fitness-focused videos.

The Miami property will feature rooms based on the updated prototype and will offer a choice of three room types. The rooms offer varying exercise amenities ranging from yoga mats to Peloton bikes and all guests will have access to the central fitness studio.

Dining options for guests include the Even Kitchen and Bar as well as a market open 24 hours a day.

Guestrooms also feature eucalyptus fiber linens, rainfall showers, and LED mood lighting as well as moveable and stand-up desks.   Guests are also afforded access to complimentary Wi-Fi Internet.
