Marriott Bonvoy Members Can Earn Points When Using Uber, Uber Eats

Marriott International announced a new partnership with ride-hailing service Uber under which members of the hotel chain’s Bonvoy guest loyalty program will be able to earn points by using Uber and Uber Eats.

Members need only link their Bonvoy account number using the Uber app.

Once linked, Bonvoy members will earn three points per dollar spent on Uber XL, Uber Comfort, Uber Black, or Premium rides.  In addition, they will earn two points per dollar spent on an Uber Eats order that is $25 or more and six points per dollar if that order is delivered to the member at a Marriott hotel.

The new program, said Jennifer Vescio, Uber’s head of business development, will help travelers “turn their stay-at-home habits into their next dream vacation.”

Members who link their accounts and have at least one qualifying transaction by April 30, 2021 will earn a bonus of 2,000 Bonvoy points.
