The flights are timed to allow for connections to multiple destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The carrier will also start the only daily non-stop service between Dallas/Fort Worth and St. George, Utah, on September 26, and new Saturday service linking Philadelphia with Eagle/Vail, Colorado, starts December 21.
American will introduce three non-stop daily flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City on November 21, and is adding non-stops from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to Rapid City, South Dakota, and from Chicago O’Hare International Airport to Yeager Airport in Charleston, West Virginia.
