Marriott International announced the completion of the renovation of the Sheraton Seattle Hotel. The hotelier also announced that, as a result of the transformation, the hotel was being rebranded as the Sheraton Grand Seattle.

The extensive work included the remodeling of all 1,236 guest rooms, the lobby, the Sheraton Club Lounge, and the hotel’s meeting and event spaces.

The “Grand” designation “ensures that guests are receiving the best that Sheraton has to offer,” the company said. It is awarded to Sheraton hotels that offer guests a combination of elegant design and architecture, an elevated level of service, and innovative restaurants.

Guest rooms feature a modern décor with wood paneling and an emphasis on earth tones. The expansive lobby offers a variety of seating areas including sofas nestled around a fireplace as well as an in-house Starbucks and a Northwest beer and wine bar.

The Sheraton Grand Seattle, located within walking distance of multiple landmarks including the Pike Place Market and the Seattle Waterfront, doubled the size of the Sheraton Club Lounge, which offers panoramic views of the city and Puget Sound.

The hotel has two restaurants, the Daily Grind, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Loulay Kitchen & Bar, which offers French-influenced fare for lunch and dinner, and also offers room service to guests.
