JetBlue Reports Slight Rise in Load Factor for June

JetBlue Airways announced operational results for June 2015. The carrier saw an increase in its total traffic, capacity, and load factor.
The New York-based airline’s passenger traffic for the month was 3.543 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a year-over-year increase of 8.8% from 3.256 billion RPMs in June of last year.
The carrier’s capacity also increased, up 8% to 4.152 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 3.844 billion ASMs in June 2014.
JetBlue’s passenger load factor for the month was 85.3%, a 0.6 percentage point increase from 84.7% in the same month last year.
