JetBlue Reports Slight Rise in Load Factor for June

DSC_0453JetBlue Airways announced operational results for June 2015.  The carrier saw an increase in its total traffic, capacity, and load factor.

The New York-based airline’s passenger traffic for the month was 3.543 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a year-over-year increase of 8.8% from 3.256 billion RPMs in June of last year.

The carrier’s capacity also increased, up 8% to 4.152 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 3.844 billion ASMs in June 2014.

JetBlue’s passenger load factor for the month was 85.3%, a 0.6 percentage point increase from 84.7% in the same month last year.
