United Airlines announced it will re-open boarding area E of Terminal 3 at San Francisco International Airport on January 28, after completing renovations.  The 68,800 square foot (6,391 square meter) boarding area will have 10 United gates, and will be able to accommodate over 50 departures a day.

Passengers traveling through Boarding Area E will be able to take advantage of the space’s complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as the “Flight Deck,” an interactive information and entertainment center.  In addition, egg chairs will be available for passengers, as well as dining and concession options from local vendors.

The boarding area will also have nine work stations equipped with over 375 power outlets.  A yoga room and interactive kid’s play area will also be located in the boarding area.

In September, United will open a new reception area for Global Services customers, as well as a new check-in area for United MileagePlus Premier passengers.
