T-Mobile Introduces Free Worldwide Data Coverage

T-Mobile announced that it will begin offering data roaming in over 100 countries at no additional cost to its customers.

The coverage applies to most customers on the company’s Simple Choice plan and includes unlimited data and texting.  Travelers will be able to make and receive calls in the same countries for 20 cents per minute.

The new voice and data features will become available October 31 and no registration is required.

In addition, T-Mobile introduced an updated Stateside International Talk & Text plan, featuring low-cost calling and texting from the U.S. to any Simple Global country.  No call will cost more than 20 cents per minute, and many calls to landlines will be free.  The service costs $10 a month and is available to most Simple Choice customers.
