San Francisco International Airport Opens Yoga Room

San Francisco International Airport has opened a yoga room in Terminal 2, which recently underwent a significant renovation.
“When we began to remodel Terminal 2, one of our goals was not just to bring the glamour back to air travel, but to also make the entire experience less stressful and more enjoyable,” said airport director John L. Martin.

Qatar Airways Unveils New London Heathrow First- and Business-Class Lounge

Qatar Airways opened a new lounge for its first- and business-class passengers at London Heathrow’s Terminal 4 this week.
The lounge, which was designed in the style of a boutique hotel, features amenities including free Wi-Fi, outlets at every seat, showers with heated floors, a Martini bar, the Global Brasserie kitchen and a delicatessen.
The airline hired staff from five-star hotels and restaurants to work in the new lounge.

Through February 5, Vancouver is hosting Canada’s largest food festival, Dine Out Vancouver, which offers discounted three-course prix-fixe dinner menus at some of the city’s top restaurants.

Norwegian Air Makes $22 Billion Aircraft Purchase, Largest Ever in Europe

Oslo-based Norwegian Air Shuttle, the third-largest low cost carrier in Europe, announced that it has placed orders for $22 billion worth of aircraft, including 100 Airbus A320s and 122 Boeing 737s. The aircraft  purchase is the largest one that has ever been made in Europe.
