DSC_0796Austrian Airlines announced that it will introduce a new premium economy cabin next March. The new cabin will be available on all the carrier’s long-haul routes beginning March 6, 2018.

The new cabin will offer new seats with a broader surface, as well as footrests starting in the second row. Each seat will have a separate central armrest with a fold-out table.

Seats will also be equipped with a power outlet and USB port, as well as a 12” screen with a remote control.

Passengers traveling in the new cabin will receive two checked bags up to 50 pounds each, and will receive a welcome drink upon boarding. Passengers will also be given an amenity kit.

The airline has already began refitting the first aircraft, a Boeing 767, with the new cabin. The carrier’s entire long-haul fleet, which consists of 11 aircraft, will be refitted by next spring.
