American to Link Dallas with Rome, Amsterdam

DSC_0275 (1)American Airlines announced that it plans to offer new seasonal service from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to both Rome and Amsterdam later this month.

The carrier will operate both routes daily through September.

American will use a Boeing 777-200ER on its service to Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport. The plane is outfitted with 37 lie-flat seats in business class, 58 seats in Main Cabin Extra, and 194 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21” to 26” wide, and expand into a bed that is slightly over 6’ in length.

The carrier will operate flights to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport using Boeing 767-200 aircraft, equipped with 28 lie-flat seats in business class, 21 seats in Main Cabin Extra, and 160 seats in economy. Seats in business class are 20” wide and also extend into a 6’-long lie-flat bed.
