New DoubleTree by Hilton Opens in Suzhou, China

Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Suzhou in Eastern China. Situated approximately 55 miles (90 kilometers) west of Shanghai, the hotel is the first of the brand’s properties to be located in Suzhou.

The hotel offers 357 guestrooms, as well as 181 one-, two- and three-bedroom suites. Each room has a 40” LCD TV and complimentary Internet.

Meeting and event space includes a 10,763-square-foot (1,000-square-meter) grand ballroom, as well as a 21,527-square-foot (2,000-square-meter) studio. A 24-hour fitness center is located on the premises.

Dining venues at the hotel include an all-day bistro, Open, which features various Asian and Western cuisine, as well as Yuxi, which offers Cantonese dishes, and Baccio, an Italian restaurant. Additionally, the Yuan Lobby Lounge offers tea and cocktails, and the property’s sports bar, Beer Society, serves international and local beer.

The hotel also hosts an indoor pool, a spa, and 24-hour fitness center.
