Austin calls itself the live music capital of the world, but it’s equally well known for its festivals and food as for music. The relatively new W Austin perfectly matches the city’s vibe and is ideally located downtown near some great clubs and just blocks away from Sixth Street, the city’s historic entertainment district.

My ride in from the airport was quick and I spotted some really interesting food trucks on the way, as if they were there just to tempt me.
