Hannounced plans to open the Hyatt Ziva Cancun hotel in Mexico in late 2015. Formerly known as the Dreams Cancun hotel, the property is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation to become a Hyatt Ziva property.

The new beachfront resort will have 379 suites, each with views of the ocean and spa-style bathrooms.  The hotel’s Hyatt Club Suites will also have splash pools.

Twelve dining options will be located on the premises, including a French bistro, a sushi and teriyaki restaurant, a gourmet buffet restaurant, a sports bar, a coffee house, and beachside grills.

The resort will also have 11,000 square feet (1,022 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a ballroom that can be divided into five separate rooms, and several outdoor event venues.  Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet service will be available throughout the entire property.

The property will also have lagoon-style pools with poolside bars, as well as a 24-hour fitness center, a spa and wellness center, and a recreation room.  In addition, the hotel will offer guests the opportunity to swim with dolphins.

The Hyatt Ziva Cancun will be the fourth Hyatt Ziva brand resort to open.  The Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos opened in 2009, and the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall Jamaica and the Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta are scheduled to open later this year.
