Airbus Books 90 Orders On Final Day at Farnborough Airshow
Transaero First European Airline to Order Upgraded A330neo

Airbus reported an additional 90 orders on Thursday as the Farnborough International Airshow continued.
Hong Kong Aviation Capital, an aircraft leasing company, signed a firm order with Airbus for a total of 70 A320neo family aircraft. The order is divided into 40 A320neo and 30 A321neo jets.
Transaero Airlines, the second largest airline in Russia, ordered 20 A330 aircraft, including 12 of the newly-announced A330neo wide-body planes. Transaero is the first European airline to commit to the upgraded plane.
Airbus said that it had taken orders for a total of 496 planes at the airshow, with a value of $75.3 billion at list price. This includes purchase orders for 358 jets and memoranda of understanding for 138.
