InterContinental Hotels Group announced the opening of the Crowne Plaza Kitchener-Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. The property, located in downtown Kitchener, was formerly the KW Hotel and Conference Centre, and underwent a multi-million dollar renovation before becoming a Crowne Plaza property.

The nine-story hotel has 193 guestrooms and eight suites, including the multi-room presidential suite, which features a Jacuzzi and fireplace. Each guestroom offers complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access, as well as tea and coffee makers.

The property has 17,000 square feet (1,579 square meters) of meeting and event space, as well as a 24-hour business center. In addition, the hotel has a restaurant and lounge on site.

Also located on the premises are a fitness center, pool, yoga studio, and sauna. The hotel also allows guests access to mini golf and a bowling alley.

The Crowne Plaza Kitchner-Waterloo also features the Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage program. The program provides custom bedding for guests, guaranteed wake-up calls, designated quiet zones, and aromatherapy.

The hotel is the fourth Crowne Plaza property in Ontario, and the eighth in Canada.
