JetBlue to Begin New Service to Port of Spain, Savannah/Hilton Head

JetBlue announced that in 2014 it will begin new service to Port of Spain, Trinidad, from both Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and New York City. The airline also announced that it would begin service from New York to Savannah/Hilton Head, Georgia early next year.

Flights between Port of Spain and Fort Lauderdale will begin May 1, 2014, and will operate daily. From Piarco International Airport in Port of Spain, flights will depart at 11:45 a.m., and arrive at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport at 3:54 p.m. Flights to Port of Spain from Fort Lauderdale will depart at 7:00 a.m. and arrive at 10:45 a.m.

Flights between Port of Spain and New York will depart from Trinidad at 2:40 p.m. and will arrive at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport at 6:59 p.m. Flights from New York to Port of Spain will depart at 7:30 a.m. and arrive at 1:44 p.m. The service will operate daily, and is set to begin on February 24 of next year.

The airline will also between twice daily service from New York to Savannah/Hilton Head on February 13, 2014. Flights will depart New York’s JFK at 7:10 a.m. and 12:59 p.m., and arrive at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport at 9:38 a.m. and 3:13 p.m. Flights from Savannah/Hilton Head to New York will depart at 10:20 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and arrive at 12:18 p.m. and 6:02 p.m.

Tickets for the airline’s New York-Savannah/Hilton Head service are now available for purchase. Service between Port of Spain and both Fort Lauderdale and New York are both subject to government approval.
