Como Hotels and Resorts to Open First U.S. Hotel in Miami

Como Hotels and Resorts announced it will open a new property in Miami this December.  The Metropolitan by Como, Miami Beach will be the company’s first hotel in the U.S.

The property will be located in an original 1930s building in the middle of Miami Beach’s Art Deco district.  The hotel will have 74 guestrooms, with shades of peppermint green and dusky grey, as well as surfaces of cool white marble and shining chrome.

There will be two restaurants in the hotel, the Traymore, featuring Floridian seafood with an emphasis on fine dining and traditional service, and the poolside restaurant, which will offer wood-baked pizzas and pick-up food.  The hotel will also have the Met Bar, which will serve premium spirits and Champagnes, as well as the rooftop Como Shambhala juice bar, which will feature various juice blends.

The property will also have a spa, the Como Shambhala Urban Escape, which will contain four treatment rooms.  In addition, the hotel will also have direct beach access and a private pool.
