United Airlines announced the opening of its new United Club lounge in Concourse A of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.  The lounge is the second to feature United’s new design concept.

At 6,096 square feet (566 square meters), the lounge features a new interior, which offers views of the Cascade Mountains, as well as a refurbished bar.  The area also offers additional workstations and power outlets.

The changes to Seattle’s United Lounge are part of a more than $50 million investment by the airline to renovate several of its 49 United Club locations this year.

The first United Club lounge to open with United’s new design concept was in Terminal 2 of Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport last year.  A new United Club in Terminal 2 of San Diego International Airport is expected to open later this summer.
