Virgin America Begins Codeshare Agreement with Singapore Airlines

Virgin America has announced a codeshare agreement with Singapore Airlines.  The agreement is Virgin America’s second international codeshare agreement, and its third overall.

Under the agreement with Singapore, passengers traveling between Asia and various Virgin America destinations in the United States will be able to book flights using the Singapore Airlines code on a single ticket.  Virgin America destinations in the U.S. include San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Las Vegas, San Diego, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Dallas Fort-Worth, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. (both Dulles and Reagan National).

Singapore Airlines currently operates 45 flights a week to the U.S., to Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco, and New York.  Flights can now be booked, for travel beginning December 18, 2012.
