St. Regis Mauritius Resort Opens in Africa

St. Regis Hotels announced it has opened The St. Regis Mauritius Resort.  The hotel is the brand’s first property in Africa, and its thirtieth in the world.  

The hotel features 172 guestrooms and suites, ranging in size from 700 to 2,300 square feet.  The St. Regis Mauritius Resort also includes a manor house, featuring seven suites with in-room spa facilities, a private 24-seat cinema, a pool, a library, and a conservatory.  Also available is the St. Regis Villa, which includes a private entrance, four bedrooms with private gardens and pools, an infinity pool, a bar, dining areas, and a private spa treatment room.  

The resort’s restaurant, Simply India, offers a modern take on Indian cuisine.  In addition, there are also six other dining options, including Le Manoir Dining Room, featuring a blend of French and Mauritian cuisine, and Floating Market, featuring a modern Asian menu.  

The hotel includes an Iridium Spa, which features a full-service salon, 12 treatment rooms, Jacuzzi, 24-hour fitness club, and sauna and steam rooms.  Guests can also enjoy a kite surfing club, which offers complimentary childcare services.
