Hyatt Announces Opening of Hyatt Place San Jose Pinares

Hyatt has announced the opening of Hyatt Place San Jose Pinares.  The property is the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Costa Rica, and the ninth in Latin America, under the Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, and Hyatt Place brands.

Hyatt Place San Jose Piinares includes 120 rooms, and is part of a mixed-use commercial complex in San Jose, that includes an approximately 97,000 square foot office tower and a 48,000 square foot medical building, along with a theater and shopping mall.

The property is the first Hyatt Place hotel located outside of the U.S.  In 2013, three more Hyatt Place hotels are expected to open in Latin America: Hyatt Place Vitacura in Santiago, Chile; Hyatt Place Panama City/Downtown in Panama; and Hyatt Place San Jose del Cabo in Mexico.  In addition, Hyatt Place Tijuana in Mexico is expected to open in 2014.
