AA and Alaska Airlines Add Reciprocal Elite Frequent Flyer Benefits

American Airlines and Alaska Airlines announced an agreement to provide elite status members of American’s AAdvantage Program and Alaska Airlines’ Mileage Plan with reciprocal benefits.

American American’s AAdvantage Program members flying on Alaska Airlines will be eligible for priority check-in and boarding, as well as no charge for two checked bags.  AAdvantage Platinum and Executive Platinum members will have access to exclusive security screening lanes and preferred seating.

Alaska Airlines’ Mileage Plan MVP, Gold, and Gold 75K members will be eligible for priority check-in and boarding, access to exclusive security lanes, and no charge for two checked bags.  They will also receive complimentary access to Preferred Plus Seats and Preferred Seats.
