US Airways Announces New Charlotte-London Service

US Airways announced it will operate daily nonstop service between London Heathrow and its hub in Charlotte, North Carolina, beginning March 2013.  The new route will operate using an Airbus A330.
The A330 aircraft will feature the latest version of Envoy, US Airway’s international business class.  Customers traveling in Envoy will experience their own private Envoy Suite, equipped with lie-flat seats, personal in-flight entertainment, and 110-volt power outlets.

Gogo has launched ATG-4, its next generation connectivity technology, on Delta, US Airways, and Virgin America. The service is expected to allow more passengers to access the Internet by increasing capacity to the aircraft.

US Airways launched non-stop routes today from Washington D.C.’s Reagan National Airport to five cities: Augusta, Georgia; Minneapolis, Fayetteville, Arkansas; Montreal, and Toronto.
