American Express, in a statement released today, announced that, “effective March 22, 2014, Consumer, Business and Corporate Platinum and Centurion Card Members will no longer have complimentary access to the American Airlines Admirals Club and US Airways Club lounges as a benefit of their Card Membership.”

Judge Gives Green Light for American Air Exit from Bankruptcy and Merger with US Airways

In a hearing Wednesday morning, a bankruptcy court judge ruled that American Airlines may exit bankruptcy “without delay” and merge with US Airways. The merger will create the world’s largest airline.
