Marriott International announced the opening of a new Marriott hotel and a refurbished Sheraton hotel at Frankfurt Airport that is located directly in Terminal 1.
The Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel and Conference Center previously occupied three interconnected buildings with a total of 1,008 rooms.  The renovated Sheraton has 779 rooms and the new Marriott has 233.

American, Hilton, Hyatt, InterContinental, Marriott, Southwest, United Earn Top Rating in LGBT Workplace Equality Index

American Airlines, Hilton Worldwide, Hyatt Hotels, InterContinental Hotels Group, Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group, Marriott International, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines all earned the top rating of 100% from the Human Rights Campaign’s 2020 Corporate Equality Index, which was announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The index rates companies on their non-discrimination policies, employment benefits, their public commitment to LGBTQ equality, and what the HRC calls “responsible citizenship.”
