United Airlines announced on Tuesday what it termed the largest expansion in its history.
The airline will launch or resume 30 transatlantic flights from mid-April through early June, adding new non-stop flights to the United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and France as well as to Jordan, Norway, Portugal, and Spain.

JetBlue Airways announced plans to offer new service linking Boston with both major London airports, Heathrow and Gatwick.

WestJet launched new service from Calgary to London Sunday night.
The airline’s first flight to London Heathrow Airport arrived at noon local time there.
The carrier will operate the flights using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
WestJet’s Dreamliners seat 320 passengers in a three-class configuration. The airline offers a business-class cabin with fully lie-flat seats, as well as a premium-economy cabin with seats in a 2-3-2 configuration.

London’s new Elizabeth Line railway, which was originally slated to open in 2020, will begin serving passengers in June of this year.
