The Atlanta-based carrier’s total system traffic for the month was 15.64 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, virtually unchanged from January 2017. Domestic traffic rose 1.3%, from 9.59 billion RPMs 9.71 billion RPMs, while international traffic decreased to 5.93 billion RPMs, a 2% drop from 6.05 billion RPMs the previous January.

American Airlines and Delta Air Lines said the two have entered into a new interline agreement.
The news was announced via a memo to American employees on Tuesday.

Delta Air Lines announced on Tuesday it will begin new daily flights from Boston to Charleston, South Carolina on June 8. In addition, the carrier said that it plans to increase the frequency of service from Boston to four cities this summer.
