Delta, WestJet Offer Reciprocal Frequent Flyer Benefits

Delta Air Lines and WestJet announced the two would offer members of their respective frequent-flyer programs with elite status reciprocal benefits.
The move comes despite an announcement last November that the two Delta Air would no longer pursue a planned transborder joint-venture agreement after the U.S. government made demands that the airlines termed “unreasonable and unacceptable.”
