Air China announced plans to launch new service between Beijing and Hanoi, Vietnam, on June 1. The carrier will operate the route four times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The Chinese government took control of Anbang Insurance Group, owner of New York’s Waldorf Astoria hotel, on Friday and will charge its founder, Wu Xiaohui, with economic crimes.
