Chinese and Indonesian regulators ordered a temporary grounding of all Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft operated by airlines in their respective countries following a deadly crash in Ethiopia on Sunday and one several months earlier.

The U.S. Department of State updated on Thursday its warning about travel to China, urging Americans to “exercise increased caution,” citing the “arbitrary enforcement of local laws and as well as special restrictions on dual U.S.-Chinese nations.”
