De Havilland Aircraft of Canada celebrated the delivery of the 600th Dash 8-400 aircraft on Monday. Taking delivery was Ethiopian Airlines, which now has 25 of the turboprop airplanes.

WestJet Shareholders Approve Onex Deal

WestJet Airlines shareholders voted in favor of a deal in which the airline would be acquired by Onex, a private equity firm.
The all-cash deal valued at 3.53 billion Canadian dollars ($2.63 billion) was announced in May of this year.
The company reported that 92.5% of shareholders voted in favor.

WestJet, Canada’s second largest airline, announced its new winter schedule on Monday.
