Omni Hotels announced it will open the Omni Louisville Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, no later than 2017. The hotel will be part of a $261 million development, which will also include retail shops, apartments, and a parking garage.

On Friday, the U.S. Department of Transportation gave tentative approval to United Airlines’ application to serve Tokyo’s downtown Haneda Airport from San Francisco, California.
