United to Offer Connecting Service to Breckenridge and Fort Collins via Bus

United Airlines announced plans to offer connecting service from its hub at Denver International Airport to Breckenridge and Fort Collins, Colorado via bus.
The move comes via a new partnership with Landline, a bus company.
The carrier will begin daily service to Breckenridge on March 11, followed by four daily trips to Fort Collins on April 1. Tickets can be reserved for the bus routes on United’s website.

Hertz Posts $1.7 Billion Loss for 2020

Hertz Global Holdings announced financial results for fourth quarter and calendar year 2020.
The world’s second largest rental chain reported a loss of $289 million on revenue of $1.2 billion in the fourth quarter. For the full year, revenue was $5.3 billion and it posted a net loss of $1.7 billion.

Airbnb Posts $3.89 Billion Q4 Loss

Airbnb announced financial results for fourth quarter of 2020, its first report as a public company.
The company, which had its IPO in December of last year, reported a loss of $3.89 billion on revenue, on revenue of $859 million in the quarter.  Revenue was down 22% year over year from $1.11 billion.

WestJet to Suspend Flights to Four Domestic Destinations through June

WestJet announced that it will temporarily halt service to four domestic locations beginning in mid-March amidst the coronavirus pandemic-induced decline in travel.
The four destinations are St. John’s, Newfoundland; London, Ontario; and Lloydminster and Medicine Hat, Alberta.
The temporary suspensions will begin on March 19, when the carrier will discontinue its WestJet Link service between Calgary and Lloydminster. On March 21, WestJet will discontinue two routes, namely Calgary-Medicine Hat and St. John’s-Halifax.
