AT&T and Samsung Mobile announced the Samsung Galaxy Camera. The new device features 4G connectivity and runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

WestJet and British Airlines Enter Into Codeshare Agreement
WestJet announced a codeshare agreement with British Airways. The deal enables British Airways to sell and market WestJet flights, and allows the BA code to be placed on select WetJet flights that connect from Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto to Ottowa, Edmonton, and Victoria.

Samsung Announces Galaxy Note II
Samsung Mobile announced the Galaxy Note II smartphone. The new device will be offered by AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless. The Note II has a larger Super Amoled screen than its predecessor, at 5.5” with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Despite the increase in screen size, the Galaxy Note II is actually narrower and lighter, due to a smaller bezel on all four sides.

South African Airways and Porter Airlines Join In Interline Agreement
Porter Airlines and South African Airlines (SAA) announced an interline agreement that will increase connection options for passengers traveling between Canada and West and Southern Africa.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has opened the Sheraton Fuzhou Hotel in China’s Fujian province. The hotel is located in Fuzhou’s newly built business district, and is one of 12 Sheraton Hotels slated to open in China by the end of 2012.
