Jumeirah Debuts New Casual ‘Zabeel House’ Brand

Jumeirah Group announced a new brand, Zabeel House. The new Zabeel House by Jumeirah brand is intended to offer a more casual experience than the traditional Jumeirah properties do.
The brand was created “in response to the continuing and growing travel trend for exploration and enrichment through travel experiences,” the company said.

British Airways’ parent IAG won’t be assuming control over Austrian airline Niki after all. An Austrian court ruled that former owner Niki Lauda had put forward the best bid.

The New Jersey-based hotelier said it will purchase La Quinta’s hotels for $1.95 billion. The move will add the well-known La Quinta brand and nearly 900 hotels to its portfolio.

American Express said Tuesday that it plans to open a new Centurion Lounge in Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport in early 2019.
The two-level lounge will provide more than 15,000 square feet (1,394 square meters) of space when it opens.
