The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration grounded all JetBlue Airways flights due to a request from the airline, the agency said in a notice on Tuesday.

The ground stop impacts flights to all destinations, the FAA said.

The reason fro the request for the ground stop by JetBlue wasn’t immediately clear nor was there any indication how long it would last.

FBT and The Travelist  have reached out to JetBlue and the FAA for more information. JetBlue Airways is headquartered in New York City and it operates out of Terminal 5 at John F. Kennedy International Airport in the Big Apple. In similar instances, the FAA has issued ground stops for security threats or IT outages, among other reasons.
