Alaska Launches New Flights from West Coast to Winter Getaways

Alaska Airlines announced the launch of new service between Los Angeles and La Paz, Bolivia, as part of its expanded service form the West Coast to popular winter destinations. The carrier also plans to begin additional flights to other ski and sunny cities in December.

Alaska’s flights between Los Angeles and La Paz will operate two to three times a week, using Embraer E175 aircraft, and on December 3, the airline will launch new daily service between Fresno and Guadalajara, which will operate using Boeing 737 aircraft.

Beginning December 19, the carrier will also offer new service from Boise to Bozeman and Orange County, between San Diego and Reno, and from Los Angeles to Kelowna, British Columbia, followed by new flights on December 20 between Vail and both Seattle and San Diego, all of which will also use E175 aircraft.

The carrier will then begin new flights to Liberia, Costa Rica from both Seattle and San Francisco, on December 20 and 21, respectively. The service will operate once a week, using Boeing 737 aircraft,
