Delta Air Lines announced on Monday the resumption of service to Aeropuerto Internacional in Havana from Miami International Airport.

The Atlanta-based carrier had resumed service to Havana in 2016 after a hiatus of 55 years but discontinued flights at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Delta will operate the approximately one-hour flights using Boeing 737 aircraft.

Other U.S. airlines have already resumed service to Havana including American Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines.

Delta previously operated service to Cuba from multiple U.S. locations including New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
